The Outpatient Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Specialist plays a
crucial role in improving patient care by bridging the gap between
providers, coders, and the revenue cycle. Using clinical knowledge, national
coding, and compliance guidelines, you will clarify at-risk documentation
and ensure complete and accurate claim submissions. Your accountability
for reviewing patient medical records in the clinic setting to capture an
accurate representation of risk adjustment and facilitate proper coding
directly impacts the quality of care provided to our patients. This
Outpatient CDI role will focus on the attributed patients within the health
