Trauma Registrar

Registrar to support the Trauma Services team. This is a remote, contract position requiring expertise in EPIC EMR, Trauma One Registry, and trauma coding standards (ICD-10, AIS08, AIS15).

Responsibilities:

Collect, analyze, and input trauma patient data into the Trauma One Registry.
Ensure accurate and timely data abstraction for trauma accreditation and compliance.
Apply ICD-10, AIS08, and AIS15 trauma coding to cases.
Maintain compliance with state and national trauma registry guidelines.
Collaborate with the trauma team on performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Recent experience with EPIC EMR and Trauma One Registry required.
Strong knowledge of ICD-10, AIS08, and AIS15 trauma coding required.
Experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity.
Certified Specialist in Trauma Registries (CSTR) certification preferred.
